Meet our Doctor:

Dr. Jack D. Hinderman D.C. - Dr. Hinderman grew up in East Dubuque, Illinois. An avid athlete, he played on the Warriors basketball and baseball teams throughout his high school years. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Dubuque before deciding to turn his passion for fitness, health and wellness into a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic. It was then that he enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic.

During the summer of 2005 Dr. Hinderman participated in the Palmer Clinic Abroad Program, traveling to Fiji on a humanitarian effort to provide chiropractic care to the people there. During his 3 weeks there he and his classmates cared for hundreds of Fijians each day, many who walked several miles just to experience chiropractic. In addition, they provided care to entire schools of young children and it was after reading a letter written by one of the schools' Grandmasters describing the positive impact chiropractic care had on the children's school attendance and performance since Fiji becoming a part of Palmer Clinic Abroad in 2004, that Dr. Hinderman knew that he wanted to focus on helping families reach a higher level of health.

After graduating in the fall of 2005, with all of his Boards complete, Dr. Hinderman worked 2 years as an associate for Valentine Chiropractic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. With this experience and a deep desire to serve the families of the Tri- State area, he and his wife moved back to his home town and opened Family First Chiropractic Wellness Center.

Dr. Hinderman is an active member of the Dubuque community and proudly holds memberships in the following organizations: Iowa Chiropractic Society, International Chiropractic Association's Wellness Science Council, Chiropractic Leadership Alliance, Gonstead Clinical Studies Society, Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce and the Dubuque Jaycees.

In addition to his active civic leadership, Dr. Hinderman contributes countless hours to community education and the promotion of health and wellness. Through Family First Chiropractic Wellness’ Community Outreach Program, hundreds of area residents are educated annually on the healing power of the body and overall benefits of healthy lifestyle choices.

Meet our Office Manager:

Tracy is our Public Relations Coordinator & Office Manager. She is a graduate of Hempstead Senior High School class of 1989. Tracy has a significant background in Customer Service and also has some accounting background. Tracy joined the Family First Chiropractic Wellness Centers (FFCWC) team in June of 2009. Tracy has always enjoyed helping people and her dynamic personality will bring happiness and energy into the office as well as assist us in taking our wellness message to the community of Dubuque.

As the office’s Public Relations Coordinator & Office Manager, Tracy coordinates every aspect of the practice’s management, her passion serves her well as she coordinates the efforts of Family First Chiropractic Wellness Center’s Community Outreach Program. Through the program the Family First Team conducts health screenings and wellness workshops for local companies and the community at large.

Sarah Hinderman (Director of Positive Attitudes) is a Graduate of Western Illinois University, receiving her Bachelors Degree of Recreation Park Tourism Administration and a Minor in Management in 2006. She worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for 6 years, organizing and running events for school-aged children. After her marriage to Dr. Jack Hinderman, Sarah moved to Cedar Rapids, IA to work at Polk Elementary as a Volunteer Coordinator, organizing volunteers and running events for the school. In October 2007 she moved to Dubuque to join her husband in establishing Family First Chiropractic Wellness Center and welcomed their first son, Blake Jackson, in February of 2009. Sarah looks forward to meeting you in the office and sharing the power of chiropractic with you and your family.

Meet our Chiropractic Assistants:

Angie (Director of First Impressions) is a Graduate of Dubuque Senior High School class of 2004. After high school Angie took on an assistant manager position with Vanity fashion clothing store, where she worked in the Dubuque store for and year and a half. Angie then moved to West Des Moines, Iowa where she took over the store manager position with Vanity. After staying in the Des Moines area for 10 months Angie had the opportunity to come home and co-manage Maurices woman's clothing store. Angie has been providing top notch customer service for four and a half years. Starting October 2008 Angie joined the Family First Chiropractic Wellness Centers (FFCWC) team as the Director of First Impressions. Angie hopes to bring her passion for helping people into the FFCWC office through her customer service skills and her wonderful personality.

Morgan May (Official Greeter and Host) has been a part of the team at Family First Chiropractic since February 2008. She is here to help you relax and feel comfortable while at FFCWC. She loves people and can not wait to meet you!
